We Are The Place To Get Great Values

Whether you’re a pro or just getting started as a buyer, you’ll find it easy to navigate and participate in our online-only auctions.

We help sell items for individuals, businesses, corporations, attorneys, and more. Because our sellers want to liquidate items quickly, you can often purchase items for pennies on the dollar. Our auctions start at $.01 or $1 and the items go to the highest bidders.

THE BUYING PROCESS

1. Create an Account

Sign up for a bidder’s account. You do not need to register an account if you are just browsing the auction catalogs.

2. Get Registered

Register to bid in the auction. You will need to register for EACH auction that you want to participate in.

3. Start Bidding!

Have fun bidding on anything you want! Keep track of the items you are watching or bidding on in your account.

4. Inspection

Inspect items in person on designated days. Some auctions do not have an inspection day, however, you are free to contact us if you have any questions about a particular item(s). We will do our best to get as much information for you.

5. Win Items & Schedule Pickup

After the auction event completely closes, your debit/credit card will be charged for the full amount of purchases. You will receive an invoice via email and/or text, which will include a QR code for picking up items and a web link to schedule an appointment for pick up.

6. Pick Up Your Items

Pick up items or arrange for shipping. When picking up large items, please bring the proper vehicle, equipment, tools and people to help you remove items.

Our Bidder Termination Policy

We are so grateful that you choose Cal Auctions to get the stuff you need at the price you set. Out of respect for our sellers and for the vast majority of buyers that take these responsibilities to heart, we will terminate a buyer’s bidding privileges after two infractions.

First Occurrence: If a buyer does not live up to their responsibilities throughout the auction process we will suspend bidding privileges until one of our customer service team members is able to speak with the buyer and resolve the issue.

Final Occurrence: If a buyer does not live up to their responsibilities throughout the auction process a second time we will terminate bidding privileges.

We are passionate about our huge buyer community and remain vigilant to ensure a pleasurable auction experience every time. The greatest cause of confusion and dissatisfaction often occurs when there is not a level playing field for buyers. This termination policy makes everyone equal, every time.

Terms & Conditions

With Great Deals Come Responsibilities

It is the buyer’s responsibility to read through our Terms of Service. Please keep in mind a few key things:

  • There is a 18% buyer’s premium on all items purchased. For example, if an item closes at $100, you will pay $118.
  • Our descriptions state everything that you are bidding on. It’s important to read the description before placing a bid. Oftentimes, an item may appear smaller or bigger in the pictures. Also, pay attention to the measurements of items so there are no surprises when picking up items.
  • Know when the auction closes plus the dates, times, and locations for picking up items. We often have auctions that are located onsite and not in our warehouse.
