This past summer we announced that new software had been installed for our online auctions. With this new format and theme, we hope that it will be easier to read and browse through the catalogs. We offer a huge thank you to all of you who have submitted your comments and feedback regarding the new software.
In this post, we want to provide a quick overview of how to navigate our new online auction catalogs. If you’re new to our site, hopefully this guide will help you when placing bids.
From each event page, you will click on the orange button in the top right area of the page that says “Go to the Auction”.
On the left side of the catalog page, you can view all the details of the event including the preview, closing, and removal days. Sidenote: If you’re not familiar with our auctions, please read carefully through all of our terms and conditions. The link is available on the first page of each catalog.
If there’s a certain type of item you are looking for, you can simply use the search box at the top.
Please note that we no longer provide a drop-down menu of categories to search under, so if you’re looking for a particular type of item, enter the category into the search box. For example, if you just want to look at jewelry items, enter “jewelry”.
Click on the little icon that looks like a small “V” to read a more detailed description of the item. You can also view the lot number, what room it is located in (If the preview is at an off-site location), and the dimensions of the item.
Click on the first photo and then scroll through to view all the photos. See the short video below…
If you want to see how many bidders and the number of bids placed on an item, click on the icon that looks like a clipboard.
Click on the icon that looks like a house located in the top-left corner of the page.
Please remember that although you may have already registered an account for our site, you still need to register for each auction that you want to participate in. If you experience any issues while navigating our site, please send us a message at any time.
We are still in the process of adding more features. Stay tuned!
