Nestled in the heart of Coachella Valley and just a stone’s throw away from Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage Country Club was part of a rich history of golf. The country club opened up in the early 80’s, catering to those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. People traveled from near and far to play golf while enjoying a relaxing getaway in the California desert, which was dubbed one of the “best kept secrets” in the desert.
Over the years Rancho Mirage evolved into an entertainment destination with world-class tennis and golf facilities, casinos, and annual festivals. Pro golfers and novices enjoyed golfing at Rancho Mirage Country Club with its tree-line fairways, spectacular views of the San Jacinto Mountains, and spacious club house.
Now the country club has closed. It’s sad to see it go, and we feel for the residents who have appreciated the presence of the golf course. Unfortunately, an era is over and for the local community it’s time for new beginnings.
Here is your opportunity to own part of the Rancho Mirage Country Club history as we’ll be hosting the auction of all the contents in the club. If you’re a golf enthusiast or looking to open up your own golf course or restaurant, this auction is right up your alley. It includes golf accessories, maintenance equipment, PGA Pro shop items, commercial kitchen equipment, golf carts, furniture, fitness equipment, and so much more! With over 700 lots in this auction, there’s something for everyone.
For golf pros and enthusiasts, here are just a few of the featured items that you can bid on:
* Golf accessories including brand new Titleist and Volvik golf balls
* Men’s and women’s golf apparel, gloves, and hats.
* Golf-related art and photographs including framed photos of famous golf pros and celebrities.
There’s even late-model golf carts available being offered as a bulk lot and individual lots. Get details here.
If you’re going to be in the Palm Springs area, an inspection day has been set to view property beginning Tuesday, November 3 at 9 AM PST. Winners can pick up items on Thursday and Friday, November 5-6 beginning at 8 AM each day. The clubʼs address is 38-500 Bob Hope Drive, a road named for the legendary entertainer, comedian and golfer.
We look forward to seeing you at the preview! If you can’t attend, but have questions about any of the items up for auction, feel free to contact us.
