Winning an Online Auction: How to Get Your Items on Removal Day
If you’re new to buying items in our online auctions, it’s good to know the different options available to get those items to you. We recently added a couple new ways that you may not know about if you’re a returning customer, so in this post we’ll give you all the details you need to know.
If you’re in the San Diego area, you can pick up items on the designated removal day. We usually have just one or two days for removal, which is the day(s) right after the closing day of the auction. The removal day(s) will be listed on the main page of the auction event. See example below…
Please note that our removal times are fixed with no exceptions. If you are not able to pick up items yourself, you can give a copy of your receipt to a third party (friend, relative, etc.) and have them get the items for you. Anything not picked up will be considered abandoned and we will not provide any refunds or chargebacks.
One of the biggest issues we come across on removal day is buyers not bringing their own tools, equipment, or people to help them remove larger items or items that need to be disassembled. We do not provide or guarantee any removal assistance. We do highly recommend hiring professional movers if you are unable to carry items yourself as we are not responsible for damages caused to items during the removal process. Here are more reminders for a smooth removal day.
We work with a professional shipping company called Pak Mail who can pick up, pack, and ship items on your behalf. They offer comprehensive shipping and freight services, so no matter how small or big the item is, they can help. Once you receive the email with your purchase receipt, you can then contact Pak Mail (email: email@example.com or call 858-456-8573) to receive a quote and arrange shipping.
Delivery to local San Diego residents
Pak Mail also provides delivery right to your home or business if you live in the San Diego area. Again, contact them for a delivery quote as soon as you receive the email notification with the receipt from us that has your list of purchased items.
