Early 1900s Slot Machine
Mills 10 cent Black Cherry Slot Machine. Probably 1936 based on Game Museums information (see last photo). Mounted on nice poece of Oak Wood. A great piece for any game room or as fun novelty. Works great and has dimes already loaded inside. Rear panel needs a lock, otherwise complete. See all photos for full description.     Large Limited Edition Signed Olaf Weighorst Print titled -Beef Herd- Numbered (884/1500). Professionally framed and matted under glass. Large heavy piece. Olaf Wieghorst was a painter of the American West and is known for his Indian, cowboy and horse paintings. In 1992, he was inducted into the Hall of Great Westerners of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Wieghorst emigrated to the United States from Denmark in 1918. He spent his working career on mounted patrol with the U.S. Cavalry, with occasional interludes as a wrangler on ranches in the western states. Wherever he went, he sketched and painted the Western culture he loved, often selling his work as calendar and magazine illustrations (such as Zane Grey,s Western Magazine and Hoofs and Horns, an honor he shared with other cowboy artists such as Dan Muller). In 1924 he joined the New York City Police Department (1924-1944) where he became a Mounted Police Officer with the Department. In 1945, Wieghorst eventually settled in El Cajon, California, San Diego County, California and spent the rest of his life there working on his art. - Lot 12004 Dimension: 42W 35H
