Signed Woodstock Poster titled; 3 DAYS of PEACE & MUSIC. Signed by the artist and designer Arnold Skolnick plus signatures by Richie Havens and Grace Slick. This piece was in our last auction and was incorrectly described as an original poster. The signatures are in fact original, but the poster is a replica reprint of the iconic 1969 version from the Music Festival that became legend. The winning bidder of this piece took it to get reframed with Museum Glass and Acid Free Foam Core Backing (FCB). After hours of research, he discovered it was a reprint rather than an original, which are very rare and so decided to return it despite the improvements made. This was a $111 upgrade improvement to the already beautiful and historic piece signed by none other than Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane, Richie Havens (1941-2013) who was the opening act at Woodstock, plus the Artist and designer of the poster, Arnold Skolnick (1937-2022).
