Cal Auctions & Estate Sales was formed in 2011 to provide online auction services for the commercial and estate community. Trained in the live auction method of selling, we realized that selling assets online to the ultimate consumer was what we did best. With our innovative processes, we pride ourselves in being able to sell just about anything. What We Sell

Today, Cal Auctions conducts internet-only sales both large and small throughout the United States.

The flexibility and reach of the internet is ideally suited for all types of equipment and inventories.

Cal Auctions sales include high-end designer furniture stores, diesel generators, party rental companies, IT switchgear, franchise restaurants, corporate headquarters, office furniture and business equipment, guard dogs and frozen fish inventory, to name a few.

The Un-Ebay

Unlike eBay or CraigsList, which sell a single item to a single buyer, CalAuctions.com is an event based liquidation site. Each event has a location, scheduled preview, closing and removal and sells many assets to many buyers.

We are a little bit traditional (with previews and pickups), a little bit eBay (online bidding), and something altogether different (event based, photo catalogs and credit card only payments).

A Heritage of Innovation

2010

Performed our first internet only (timed) auction for a customer that needed to sell all of there IT and computer hardware. Results from the auction far exceeded estimated value.

2011

Cal Auctions was formed, and the race was on to provide an innovative way to sell all types of assets via online only auction.

2013

Cal Auctions added the Estate Sale division to help clients with the downsizing and/or liquidation of high end antiques, art and collectibles. A large local charity utilizes our firm to sell all of their "specialty" items which are donated throughout the year.

2016

We recently acquired an additional 5,000 sq/ft of warehouse to house our industrial and commercial auctions. Now with over 10,000 sq/ft we can handle just about any liquidation that needs to be moved.

Jason Hanks
President
At an early age, Jason liked to "wheel and deal" in order to own the things he liked. After graduating from college at Cal Poly SLO he worked in various industries until he found what he loved in Online Auctions.
Jason is certified through the National Auctioneers Association with the prestigious CIA and AMM certifications.

Operations Manager
Alex was the Operations Manager at Father Joe's Villages for 25 years before joining our team. He has a wealth of knowledge on just about everything. He's a jack-of-all-trades and ensures that the onsite experience is one people will remember.
Erika Villavicencio
Marketing/Office Coordinator
After taking time off to raise her 2 children Erika decided it was time to put her marketing degree to good use. She does everything from Marketing the auctions to helping people get registered to bid.
Christine Saltzman
Outside Sales Consultant
Christine has been in the estate liquidation and appraisal industry for over 20 years. She got started performing traditional estate sales with a family business in Temecula, CA before joining Cal Auctions in 2013. Now she spends her time consulting sellers on the best way to liquidate their belongings.
Nichole Bellanima
Special Asset Consultant
Nichole is the mastermind behind the wonderful descriptions and information for those hard to find antiques and collectibles. She has many strangths but really likes to research jewelry and stones.
Jody Steinbauer Rossman
Asset Advisor
Jody came to us through her Antique Store in La Mesa that she ran for many years with her Mother. As a mother of a firefighter and a wife to a chef she is a master at multitasking and an expert in having fun. You can find her most days sorting and processing the items in preparation for the next auction.
Carlos Saldana
Asset Advisor
We were very excited to have Carlos join our team after his departure from Father Joe's Villages where he worked for over 25 years running the furniture warehouse and other retail stores for the non profit. Carlos is a family man with a ton of knowledge about antiques and collectibles.
Ken Yuraitis

As an avid auction buyer Ken decided he wanted to help us get things ready to sell. He spent most of his life in Auto Parts sales and loves to spend time with his Grandkids.
Terry Hanks
Removal Coordinator
Retired from an Event Planning Co. after 35 years of ownership, Terry now spends part of the week at a local golf course as a marshal and the other half helping with inspections and removals.
Maria Palma
Social Media Consultant
After working in sales and management for 13 years, Maria followed her passion for writing and online marketing. She now helps businesses with blogging and social media. When she's not writing, Maria loves to paint and is addicted to watching Flea Market Flip.
