Just spend a few minutes on Pinterest and you&#8217;re likely to come across pins of mid-century style furniture and tons of DIYers upcycling vintage items. Even shows like \u201cFlea Market Flip\u201d have broadened our home decor horizons, providing tons of ideas on turning trash into treasure. With just a little creativity and paint, you can take any <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sawdustandembryos.com\/2012\/04\/diy-little-orange-end-table.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">old piece of furniture and give it a modern look<\/a>. If you\u2019re a more ambitious and creative upcycler, you could try <a href=\"http:\/\/www.harrogateadvertiser.co.uk\/news\/business\/upcycling-website-launches-salvage-hub-1-7360762\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">incorporating motorsports parts<\/a> into your pieces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Collecting as an Investment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even if you\u2019re not upcycling items, you may consider starting a collection of vintage pieces as an investment. After all, who really knows what\u2019s going to happen to the stock market in the future? Although they sell many of the items, unfortunately some of it has to go to the dump. Think about how much stuff goes into the landfills on a daily basis?
